On July 2, Kent Records will release an album of country songs as performed by 60s and 70s soul singers, Behind Closed Doors: When Country Meets Soul. The recording contains Cookie Jackson’s 1967 cover of the Tammy Wynette hit, “Your Good Girl’s Gonna’ Go Bad”.  Cookie’s performance can be heard here via YouTube.
